Cadet Program 2008-2009

The Woodside Fire Protection District offers an exceptional Cadet Program for individuals interested in a career in the Fire Service. Cadets gain hands-on experience participating in training and public service events. Cadets work 24-hour shifts and ride-along on emergency calls.

Cadets must be enrolled in the CO-Operative Education Program at the College of San Mateo. They must also meet monthly hour requirements and attend monthly training drills.

The Cadet term begins in August and is twelve months in length.

Minimum qualifications are: must be 18 years old and must have completed EMT and Firefighter 1 or be enrolled at the beginning of the term.

For any questions contact Captain Bob Bender at 650-851-1594.

Congrats to the new 2008-2009 term Cadets!
