Wunderlich Park Vegetation Management
In order to prevent a wildland fire
from spreading rapidly, San Mateo County parks requested a vegetation overhaul.
Controlled burns were scheduled for several days in January and February.
This type of vegetation management
not only supports fire prevention, but also the preservation of native trees and
plants.
