Public Comment Period Now Open — 2026 Local Hazard Mitigation Plan
The Multijurisdictional Local Hazard Mitigation Plan, approved in 2021, was developed through a collaborative regional effort to reduce risks from natural and human-caused disasters. The plan is now due for an update in accordance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) 2022 policy
