SUMMARY:Intro to WPV-Ready Nodes
DESCRIPTION:
In an emergency, neighbors are often the first line of support. WPV-Ready Nodes are simple, neighborhood-based connection points designed to help people share information and connect to resources during disasters. Join us on March 26 at 6:30 PM via Zoom to learn how easy it is to set up a Node in your neighborhood. Nodes require very minimal supplies — just basic organization tools and a plan. They are not storage sites and do not involve exchanging or stockpiling items. Instead, Nodes serve as communication hubs that help connect neighbors to the information and resources they need. This session will walk through the simple structure of a Node, how they support inclusive preparedness (including older adults, people with access and functional needs, and households with pets), and how Nodes align with the broader WPV-Ready network. If you’re looking for a practical, low-barrier way to strengthen your neighborhood’s resilience, this class is for you.

Register here

A zoom link will be sent out before the day of the event.
