On August 30, 2025, at approximately 4:54 p.m., a 9-1-1 call reported a vehicle fire on northbound Highway 280, south of Edgewood Road. A green Toyota Corolla was found fully engulfed, with flames spreading to the adjacent hillside vegetation. Click on the link below to read full press release.

• Tubbs Fire (Oct 2017) – 5,600+ structures destroyed
• Camp Fire (Nov 2018) – California's deadliest wildfire
• Palisades & Eaton Fires (Jan 2025) – 18,000 acres burned
