In March 2024, a controlled burn at Stanford's Jasper Ridge Biological Preserve helped reduce wildfire risks and restore native plants. Led by experts and the Muwekma Ohlone Tribe, the burn showcased a partnership of scientific and Indigenous knowledge, supporting long-term land health and safety.
