Since 2002, the Firewise Communities/USA Recognition Program has empowered neighbors to work together in reducing their wildfire risk. Join the growing network of more than 1200 recognized Firewise Communities' from across the nation taking action and ownership in preparing and protecting their home against the threat of wildfire.
Woodside Fire Protection District embraces the message of Firewise Communities and is an active participant in creating fire safe communities. The following are a list of Firewise Communities within our District, with more in the process:
